Qualifications

• PhD in Mathematical Statistics (NQF level 10).
• Minimum five years’ experience with a proven publication track record in accredited journals.
• Minimum five years’ experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses with sole responsibility for lecturing.
• Minimum five years’ experience in administering large class groups, including leadership of administrative duties.
• Minimum five years’ experience supervising PhD and Master’s students with a proven track record of successful completions.

Responsibilities

• Present undergraduate and postgraduate statistics modules and develop new modules.
• Conduct academic research and supervise postgraduate (PhD and Master’s) students.
• Assist with administrative, organisational and management tasks within the subject group.
