Responding to customer phone and other communications, addresses questions / issues / problems / concerns, etc.You will have a workload which often includes samples from livestock and exotic species through regular zoo screening.From day one, you'll have full autonomy in your work, but you'll also get full support when you need it.What You Need To SucceedNational Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience required.SAVC registration (Registered Veterinary Technologist) is mandatory.Min 3 years' professional experience in a similar position or veterinary practice desiredYou will have practical experience in Urinalysis, Chemistry, Hematology, Endocrinology and Cytology.You are very comfortable with performing automated instrumentation or manual methods.You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.You are able to read, understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), including safety and quality procedures.You have a positive attitude and love to bring this energy into the lab every day to support your colleagues, whether working independently or as a team contributor.You are able to prioritize and multi-task, demonstrated excellent attention to detail on the job and can work reliably and preciselyReliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position.
