Job summary

RMB is looking for a highly organized KYC Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg on a 12-month contract. You will handle client queries, verify KYC information, and ensure documentation meets internal standards while aligning with regulatory requirements.

You will work with stakeholders across Client Groups and Business Units, manage deadlines under SLAs, and continuously improve processes. A degree in Law or Compliance and at least three years in a CIB environment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Honours or postgraduate qualification in Law, Compliance or related field is required.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills are essential.
• Experience in AML/KYC or a client-focused compliance role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve KYC-related queries and discrepancies.
• Verify client KYC information and ensure documentation meets internal standards.
• Engage with clients proactively for KYC activities before deadlines.
• Coordinate with Client Groups and Business Units to collect regulatory docs.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and monitor SLA-driven timelines.
