Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking enthusiastic Restaurant Team Members to join our travel center. Cooks handle food preparation, cooking, and kitchen efficiency, while cashiers ensure a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates will work evenings/weekends, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with chefs and front-of-house staff. Training and growth opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain focused under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients.
• Cooking and Cooking Assistance: Cook or assist in cooking dishes according to menu specifications and monitor temperatures.
• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and follow health guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Restock kitchen supplies and monitor inventory with FIFO practice.
• Team Collaboration: Work with kitchen and front-of-house to ensure timely orders and training of new staff.
• Adherence to Procedures: Follow cooking procedures, presentation standards, allergens handling.
