Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent General Cleaner for our client in Kimberley to ensure tidiness and sanitation across the premises. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a busy environment.

You will perform routine cleaning (dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming), sanitize restrooms and kitchens, replenish supplies, and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning/janitorial roles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Physical fitness to perform standing, bending, and lifting.
• Reliability and punctuality essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning: dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to high hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling; dispose according to policy.
• Wipe surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to maintain neat appearance.
