Key Accounts Manager

Our client is a supplier of electronics, televisions, and appliances. We are on the hunt for a Key Accounts Manager who will develop innovative strategies to achieve sales goals, as well as make meaningful connections with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing / potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Present, promote, and sell products / services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Analyze the territory / market's potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Participate in sales meetings and regular training.
  • Negotiate and use persuasion skills to overcome objections.
  • On-time reporting and completion of daily administration objectives.
  • The implementation of promotions when applicable.
  • Provide ongoing market intelligence to management.
Requirements Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
  • Completed Matric or equivalent, accredited by SAQA.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within a sales representative role.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Office).
