A dynamic retail marketing company in Johannesburg is seeking a Regional Account Manager to drive sales growth and manage relationships with key retail partners. The role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in account management within a premium or FMCG environment, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start.
You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, profitability, and market share across key national and regional retail partners.
Work closely with internal teams to develop and execute customer business plans, ensuring effective in-store and online performance while strengthening strategic customer relationships.
Develop and implement regional account strategies to achieve sales, margin, and share growth.
Manage joint business planning, promotional activities, and budget allocation.
Build and maintain strong multi-level relationships within key retail accounts.
Translate data and insights into actionable commercial plans.
Monitor and optimize online and in-store execution to enhance brand visibility and performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Service teams to deliver aligned business objectives.
Support the delivery of exceptional customer engagement and category growth.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Key Account or Regional Account Management, ideally within a premium or FMCG environment.
Proven success in delivering sales and profitability targets.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.Excellent analytical ability with experience in business planning and forecasting.
Ability to influence, collaborate, and build trusted relationships across functions and with retail partners.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel regionally.
