  • Collaborate with the development team to secure accounts.
  • Manage market development in South Africa.
  • Develop Power Purchasing Agreements in West Africa.
  • Continue sales development for Energy and Water monitoring services.

Job Title : Key Account Manager - Renewable Energy Company Overview : Our Client is a leading engineering solutions provider within the renewable energy market. They specialize in developing, constructing, and operating renewable energy projects in Africa.

Job Summary: The Key Account Manager will report directly to the Head of Business Development. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and expanding our relationships with key clients and identifying and developing new client accounts within the renewable energy sector.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and secure business development opportunities across Africa.
  • Build long-term relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and offer solutions and support.
  • Collaborate with the business development technical team to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
  • Manage SME market development in RSA for existing pipeline clients and the development of new opportunities.
  • Responsible for PPA (Power Purchasing Agreement) development in West Africa, SADC, and RSA.
  • Continue development of sales of our Energy and Water monitoring services along the Solar PV Division.
