Job summary

Qualifications

- Valid unendorsed driver’s license with own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel nationwide.

- Experienced with several systems (Syspro, Microsoft - Intermediate etc.)
- Full understanding of design and production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap, and re-work.
- Valid drivers license. (Unendorsed) with own reliable vehicle
- Willing to travel (nationwide when needed)
- Must be able and willing to pursue new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and growing key accounts as well as being responsible for developing new business.
- Developing relationships with customers and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Identifying new business opportunities by leveraging the full potential of the companys products.
- Identify customer needs and driving opportunities in alignment with the business strategy.
- Ensuring timeous and correct delivery of products to customers.
- Effectively implementing price increases maintaining price lists for customers.
- Assist in developing and implementing a strategic plan based on the company strategy and customer expectations.
- Researches and gathers appropriate information on target markets to qualified leads; plans and executes an effective sales approach.
- Represents the Company at different designer/ furniture tradeshows.
- Able to cultivate strong multi-player relationships.
- Conduct sales trips in their specific markets to personally contact qualified clients.
- Prepare customized bid proposals and conducts bid presentations.
- Maintain a well-informed working knowledge of all product ranges, production workflow, warrantee, and guarantee, etc.
- Generates sales reports including all booking reports and other daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting as directed (i.e., Visit Report, Sales vs. Budget for relevant region and Volume vs. Budget reports).
- Facilitate sales, goals and develop long term partnerships with customers.
- Liaise with customers with regards to forecasting and stock control.
- Responsible for timely follow up and on-going sales relationships with qualified clients to ensure ROI of attended shows/events.
- Maintain contact through direct mail, telephone, email, or personal sales calls with existing clients.
- Manage support staff including monitoring of assignments, productivity, and overall well-being.
- Actively contribute to teamwork through participation in staff meetings and by actively supporting colleagues.
- Motivate team.
- Demonstrate behaviours which reflect the KAP vision and values.
- Acting responsibly and performing your work in accordance with safety standards applied and directions given by your Manager, the Regulations, or relevant codes of practice.
- Supervise and control resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Monitor and maintain company Absence Control Procedures to ensure maximum attendance levels.
- Conduct incident, accident, non-conformity investigations ,associated reporting and action closure.
- Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting.
