Drive and grow sales by managing and developing key customer accounts in line with annual sales and profitability targets.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- National Diploma or higher in Sales or Marketing
- Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in Key Account Management or Territory Sales
- FMCG industry knowledge within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa (advantageous)
- Strong track record of managing major national accounts at head-office level
- B2B experience in commercial refrigeration or related industry (beneficial)
- CRM system knowledge or certification
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
Key Performance Areas
- Develop and implement account strategies and sales plans to achieve annual sales turnover and profitability targets
- Manage, retain, and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Maintain strong customer relationships through effective contract and agreement management
- Conduct monthly reviews of customer results, identify variances, and take corrective action to stay aligned with budgets
- Provide market insights and account intelligence to support business planning and product development
- Promote company values, teamwork, and collaboration to drive performance across accounts
