Position Purpose
To play a pivotal role in driving client satisfaction, retention, and growth within the Afrocentric Wellness portfolio. This role is responsible managing key wellness client relationships, ensuring service level agreement compliance, and delivering high quality reporting.
Experience
- 6–10 years’ experience in Key account / client management (preferably in health or wellness sectors), Business development, tender processes, and proposal writing.
- Reporting, data interpretation and integration
Qualifications
A healthrelated qualification (e.g., Public Health, Nursing, Health Coach, Wellness Management, or similar) is essential
Continuous improvement
- Implement practical solutions that use the specialist and departmental systems and processes
- Provide specialist input and recommendations to improve the efficiency, compliance and quality objectives related to the area of specialisation
- Identify problems and develop and propose solutions to present to appropriate leader or stakeholders
- Ensure day to day operational support required from area of specialization is provided to enhance performance
Drive customercentricity
- Maintain a high level of impact on other departments to support improved delivery
- Continually increase understanding of client and stakeholder needs, satisfaction and service delivery
Knowledge management
- Ensure that adequate knowledge regarding specialisation is shared as required and maintained within the research library
- Provide advice and / or training as required
- Maintain, develop and implement specialist knowledge within the day to day operations of the organisation
Maintain expertise level
- Be a member of related professional bodies
- Ensure CPD (continual professional development) or similar accreditation requirements are met annually to ensure maintained specialist accreditation
Network key relationships
- Engage with and provide support to the established network of internal and external expert resources and partners
Operational Implementation of Strategy
- Maintain industry related knowledge to provide informed and accurate insight to stakeholders
- Provide scheme and clinical support to projects
Specialist support to projects
- Provide Specialist expertise and ensure best practice related to specialisation is implemented in projects, when required
- Conform to project management disciplines when participating in projects
- Represent department or project on appropriate committees related to area of specialisation
Stakeholder Management
- Provide effective and valuable input and guidance to the scheme to support the management of clinical risk
- Resolve key escalated clinical queries for the schemes
Key Account Management and Client Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key wellness clients.
- Ensure all wellness SLAs are consistently achieved and monitored.
- Lead client engagements, including regular status meetings, presentations, and strategic reviews.
- Build and maintain strong, trustbased relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Address and resolve client issues, risks, or escalations promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are adhered to and documented.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Track programme performance, utilisation, and outcomes against KPIs.
- Analyse data trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of all client reporting.
Business Development and Growth Support
- Contribute to business development initiatives that drive revenue growth for the wellness division.
- Lead or support tender submissions, RFP responses, and procurement documentation.
- Prepare specialised proposals tailored to wellness client needs and industry requirements.
- Identify and pursue upsell and crosssell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Support the development of new wellness products enhancements, and project rollouts.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to position offerings effectively
Internal Collaboration and Operational Excellence
- Work closely with operational, clinical, product, and analytics teams to ensure seamless delivery of wellness solutions.
- Provide input into process improvements, standard operating procedures, and client onboarding frameworks.
- Support the Business Manager Wellness with strategic initiatives and departmental planning.
- Participate in internal project teams where client insight is required.
