Qualifications

Role Overview

As a Junior VIP Account Manager, you will assist the VIP team in managing and nurturing relationships with high-value players. Your goal is to deliver a best-in‑class customer experience that drives engagement, loyalty and lifetime value. You'll act as a key contact for selected VIP and potential VIP players, ensuring they receive exceptional service and personalised support. This role is ideal for someone who's passionate about sports and gaming, confident in communication and eager to develop a career in customer relationship management and VIP services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with assigned VIP and high‑value players.
  • Support the onboarding of new VIPs and ensure a smooth transition into the VIP programme.
  • Manage day‑to‑day communication via phone, email, WhatsApp and live chat.
  • Execute personalised campaigns, promotions and rewards for VIP players.
  • Monitor player activity and identify opportunities to increase engagement and lifetime value.
  • Proactively reach out to players to improve retention and reduce churn.
  • Track VIP portfolio performance and report on key metrics (deposits, NGR, retention rates, etc.).
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve the overall VIP proposition and portfolio performance.
Requirements

Essential

  • 1–2 years' experience in customer service, sales, or account management — ideally in iGaming.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and confident phone, email and chat etiquette.
  • Passion for sports and iGaming.
  • Ability to work flexibly based on VIP player needs.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Desirable

  • Experience in the iGaming sector.
  • Understanding of player behaviour and lifecycle management.
  • Additional South African languages (e.g., Afrikaans, isiXhosa, isiZulu).
