Junior to Mid UI / UX Designer

Location : Centurion, South Africa

Reports to : Senior UX Designer

Purpose

The role involves designing and refining digital experiences that are user-centered and impactful.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive interfaces, conduct user research, and contribute to the evolution of design systems and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve UI / UX for complex products.
• Conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys).
• Translate insights into wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and documentation.
• Support solution architecture, continuous improvement, and project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with governance and security standards.

Requirements

• Education: Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Visual Communication, Graphic / Interaction Design, or related fields.
• Experience: 2-4 years in UI / UX design.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of UI / UX principles, user-centered design, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe Suite, and related tools.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and front-end libraries.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency.
