Qualifikationen

• NQF Level 4 qualification in Short-Term Insurance (min 150 FAIS credits) or equivalent.
• RE5 Regulatory Examination completed.
• FAIS fit and proper in terms of FAIS legislation.
• 1–2 years’ experience in short-term insurance underwriting or learnership/internship.
• Strong admin and organisational skills with high accuracy.
• Fluent in English; Afrikaans advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Assess, rate and process new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations.
• Prepare quotations and policy schedules within agreed turnaround times.
• Review risk information and survey reports to determine terms and conditions.
• Apply underwriting guidelines and refer risks outside mandate to seniors.
• Liaise with insurers, brokers and clients on cover queries and requirements.
• Conduct annual renewal reviews including sum insured adequacy and premium adjustments.
• Maintain accurate client, policy and risk records on the brokerage system.
• Ensure compliance with FAIS, TCF, POPIA and internal policies.
• Provide general admin support to underwriting.
