About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Service Desk Engineer to join our team. This is an entry-level position where you will support our corporate, reseller, and wholesale customers in the Information, Communications and Telecommunications (ICT) industry.

No prior experience is required - we provide on-the-job training and opportunities to complete industry-relevant courses and certifications through the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for networking equipment and CPEs.
  • Support and troubleshoot voice and cloud solutions.
  • Proactively monitor and engage with the NOC environment.
  • Log cases and escalate issues to upstream providers when required.
  • Continuously improve skills and performance, guided by KPIs.
  • Participate in shift work, including graveyard/standby duty (one week per month).
Requirements
  • Education: Matric / High School certificate (Required).
  • Driver's License: Preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge:
  • Networking & Security knowledge (advantageous).
  • Understanding of ICT services is beneficial.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Intelligent, hardworking, and self-motivated.
