A leading technical sales company in Johannesburg seeks a Junior Technical Sales Rep. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a full range of company equipment and managing a large existing client base. They should possess technical sales experience, a valid driver's license, and be a self-motivated team player with good communication skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years technical sales experience with a stable track record.
  • Sales experience in the engineering field or sheet metal shops is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license and own transport is essential.

Artisan trade or similar will secure

Valid drivers license and own transport is ESSENTIAL (a company pool car is used for work purposes)

Minimum of 1-2 years technical sales experience with a stable track record is required

Sales experience in the "engineering field or sheet metal shops" will secure

Must be a hands on technical individual ie. open machine, check parts etc.

Willing to learn and embrace technology in the machine tool industry.

We require the skills of a Junior Technical Sales Rep in Johannesburg who will be responsible for the sales of the full range of company equipment offered.

This individual will become a specialist in this field and will build relationships & trust with customers in order to sell & support customers fully.

You will manage a large existing client base and develop new business / follow up on leads.

This person will learn & have knowledge of the full range of company equipment and will be responsible for finding new business growing the customer base, as well as servicing existing clients on a continual basis.

Must be enthusiastic / self motivated

Strong team player

Willing to learn and embrace technology in the machine tool industry.

Good communication skills on all levels.

Computer literate (Windows & Excel)

Own vehicle to and from work (Poole car used for business)

Willing / able to travel locally
