SARS seeks a Junior Consultant: legal (Tax Court Litigation) to provide supervised legal, paralegal and case-management support. The role focuses on research, governance submissions, preparation of legal documents and stakeholder engagement under guidance from experienced practitioners.

The position requires a legal qualification and 2–3 years' experience in a legal environment, with a developmental trajectory within Tax Court Litigation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with meetings and consultations with internal and external clients regarding finalisation of litigation matters.
• Accumulate information and provide reports with recommendations in the area of specialisation.
• Apply practical knowledge and identify trends and risks in work outputs.
• Communicate interpretations and judgments of work within area of specialisation.
• Ensure adherence to policies, standards and legislative requirements in delivered outputs.
• Plan and schedule own activities to improve quality and service delivery.
