A financial institution in Cape Town is seeking a Credit Management professional to conduct quality credit management practices. The role involves managing accounts during the early stages of delinquency, requiring strong negotiation skills and customer interaction. Candidates should have at least 3 to 5 years of credit management experience and relevant diplomas in Business or Management. To conduct and ensure quality credit management principles within a credit officials mandate level, based on the Absa Bank Credit Risk Model. To manage customers' accounts by ensuring the normalisation and rehabilitation of account management accounts during the early stage delinquency cycle. This the end-to-end process requires collaboration with various Strategic Business Units (SBUs). The role has a strong Credit and Risk Management focus specializing in the account management process.
Resolve early-stage excess/arrears by assessing the customer’s risk, determining the reason for the excess/arrears and agreeing a solution with the customer. This could include agreeing a promise from the customer to pay, an increase, decrease in facility, adjusting debit orders and/or fees, or restructuring the facility where appropriate.
NQF Level 7: Degree/ National Diploma
3 to 5 years credit management experience
Previous mandate management experience preferred
