A culinary recruitment agency is looking for a skilled Junior Sous Chef for a farmhouse restaurant in the Elgin Valley, South Africa. The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards while preparing fresh and seasonal dishes. A culinary qualification and 2-3 years' experience are required. This position involves working Wednesdays to Sundays from 07:00 to 17:00.
Our client, a welcoming farmhouse restaurant in the Elgin Valley, is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to join their kitchen team. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients to create wholesome and beautifully presented dishes in a relaxed, country-style setting.
As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, help lead the team, and ensure every dish meets the restaurant’s high standards.
Working Hours: 07:00 – 17:00, Wednesdays to Sundays.
