Placements24 is seeking motivated Junior Software Development Trainees to join our Cape Town team. You will gain practical experience in modern web development, collaborating with senior engineers and product managers to deliver real projects.

This program emphasizes hands-on learning, mentorship, and a clear growth path in a fast-paced tech environment. You will work on front-end and back-end tasks, develop coding practices, and contribute to SDLC activities.

Qualifications

• A completed matriculation certificate with a strong focus on Mathematics and/or Computer Science is preferred.
• A demonstrable passion for software development and coding.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts (e.g., variables, loops, functions).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reside in or be able to commute to Cape Town, Western Cape.
• A proactive approach to learning and contributing.
