Seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Sales Consultant to join a leading corporate telecommunications team based in Sandton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual passionate about sales, technology, and client relationships to kickstart their career in the fast-paced telecommunications sector.

You’ll play an essential role in identifying new business opportunities, supporting senior sales executives, and helping clients find tailored internet, voice, and connectivity solutions to suit their needs

Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 basic + commission, fuel allowance, and cell phone allowance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 – essential
  • 1 to 2 years sales experience in the telecoms industry specifically
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (non-negotiable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident and professional phone manner (comfortable with cold calling)
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems and products quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (advantageous)
  • Fully bilingual

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach new corporate clients within target regions
  • Conduct cold calls to introduce company products and set up appointments
  • Attend meetings to present tailored telecommunications solutions
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships and perform regular follow-ups
  • Assist with sales presentations, quotations, and contract negotiations
  • Close smaller sales deals under supervision
  • Collaborate with senior sales staff to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Conduct basic market research and track competitor activity
  • Stay informed on company product offerings, services, and promotions
  • Clearly explain technical product benefits to non-technical clients
  • Record all sales activities accurately on the CRM system
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports
  • Maintain client contact databases and assist with after-sales support
