About the Job

Peachtree Networks is seeking a motivated and strategic B2B Account Manager to join our Cape Town team.

This on-site position plays a vital role in expanding our business within the Telecom and ISP sectors, through strategic account management, international coordination, and business development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and managing existing client accounts across domestic and international markets.

Occasional international and domestic travel (up to 10%) is required.

English is required; French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Russian are preferred.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers at client organizations.
  • Show experience with business plan creation, customer account responsibility, and international coordination.
  • Develop new business by identifying business opportunities and prospects through industry evaluation, research, and sales analysis.
  • Negotiate with executive‑level decision‑makers and understand company purchasing cycles.
  • Navigate decision‑making processes of the client and successfully close agreements and big deals to maximize profit.
  • Manage all corporate‑level contacts within target accounts at their key global locations.
  • Develop a strategic business plan to support the growing existing business.
  • Identify ongoing and upcoming projects and coordinate efforts with Sales, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to maximize customer satisfaction and business goals.
  • Develop relationships with key personnel through personal meetings at important corporate locations.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Ideal Candidate
  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B account management and selling to executives of large, international corporations.
  • Experience in the IT / Telecommunications / refurbished equipment sector is a plus.
  • Executive‑level communication and presentation skills in English; fluency in French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Russian is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving growth.
  • Strong knowledge of selling methodologies and account development.
  • Experience working with customers on quotes, proposals, and solutions development.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, data analysis tools, and digital communication platforms.
  • Ability to manage workload, priorities, and time efficiently in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
