In this role, you will focus on onboarding South African retailers and partners to integrate with our cutting‑edge payment solutions.
You’ll play a key role in expanding our network of payment partners, ensuring smooth integration and driving customer satisfaction.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to grow in the fast‑paced and evolving payments industry. Must be based in Cape Town.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Onboarding
Identify potential retailers and businesses in South Africa to integrate as payment partners. Conduct outreach, present our payment solutions, and secure agreements with new clients. Manage the entire onboarding process, ensuring timely and successful integration of payment systems for new partners.
- Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients to foster ongoing collaboration and loyalty. Act as the primary point of contact during the onboarding process, addressing client queries and ensuring a smooth transition to our payment platform.
- Solution Selling
Develop a clear understanding of our payment solutions, including the technical integration, transaction processing, and security features. Communicate the value of our solutions effectively, helping partners see how our platform can streamline their payment processes and drive business growth.
- Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and operational departments, to ensure seamless integration for clients. Regularly provide updates to the Sales team regarding client onboarding progress, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Market Insight
Stay informed about the latest trends in the payment industry, including new technologies and competitor activities, to identify fresh sales opportunities. Gather feedback from clients to contribute to continuous product and service improvements.
- Travel and Event Attendance
This role may require you to travel within South Africa at the company's expense for client meetings, business development, and other sales‑related activities. You may also be required to attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our payment solutions and build relationships with potential partners.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric. Some sort of post matric qualification – e.g. Sales / Marketing etc.
- 2 years' plus similar work experience.
- Experience within payments / finance / financial services is highly beneficial.
- Driver’s licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and establish relationships.
- A sales‑driven mindset with a strong ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
- Attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain payment solutions, including integration and transaction processes.
- Previous experience in sales, account management, or client‑facing roles is an advantage.
- A willingness to travel within South Africa as needed and attend events or conferences when required.
