We are looking for a dynamic Junior Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalize projects within strict deadlines and budget requirements. This role involves acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party contractors, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for defining project objectives, managing timelines, and overseeing quality control throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 2 - 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • Strong familiarity with project management software
  • Database and operating systems experience
  • 2 years’ experience in employee / project team management
  • Technically competent with various software programs
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, contractors, and external consultants to execute project tasks.
  • Communicate project expectations, milestones, and updates clearly and regularly to all stakeholders.
  • Track and monitor project progress, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Submit budget proposals and manage project costs, recommending adjustments where necessary.
  • Identify project risks and issues, proactively implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Manage project documentation, including progress reports, presentations, quotations, and regulatory submissions.
  • Oversee quality assurance and control throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Ensure landlord and council approvals are obtained for signage and other required changes.
  • Ensure all snags and outstanding items are resolved within two weeks of project handover.
  • Maintain and update control documents weekly to reflect current project status.
  • Provide support for the preparation and submission of plans to architects and relevant authorities.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to ensure alignment, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Implement best practices and continuously improve project execution and delivery methods.
