We’re Move — an embedded talent consultancy on a mission to evolve how the world’s businesses recruit. We work with some of the most innovative organisations out there, from crypto change-makers, Google-backed unicorns, and some of the best and brightest in Fintech and SaaS.

We’re looking for a motivated and curious Junior Recruiter to join our team in Cape Town. This role will support both Move’s internal hiring and client recruitment projects, making it a unique opportunity to learn hands-on from experienced recruiters while contributing to live work.

You’ll gain exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing and market research to candidate engagement and employer branding. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate who wants to kick-start their career in recruitment and talent.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sourcing and identifying potential candidates across LinkedIn, job boards, and referrals.
  • Screening CVs and supporting with interview scheduling.
  • Assisting with Move’s internal hiring needs.
  • Building candidate pipelines and supporting recruiters on client projects.
  • Conducting market research and talent mapping.
  • Updating and maintaining recruitment systems (ATS) and reporting.
  • Supporting employer branding initiatives (content, events, campaigns).
  • Learning core recruitment skills through structured training and mentorship.

Requirements

  • A recent graduate (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Curious about people, careers, and businesses.
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn and social media professionally.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and eager to learn.
  • A proactive team player, adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Based in Cape Town, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup.

Nice To Have (but Not Essential)

  • Experience from internships, part-time jobs, or university societies.

Salary: up to R18k-24k per month ctc.
