SUMMARY
Our Client in the Property and Construction Industry is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Real Estate Agent to join their sales team in Midrand. This is an entry-level position designed for an individual who is keen to start a career in the property development sector. The successful candidate will work closely with a Senior Agent, assisting in all aspects of the sales process, while gaining invaluable on-the-job experience and building their professional skills.
POSITION INFO: Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with Sales Activities: Assist in marketing and promoting properties within our new developments. Help with the preparation and running of show houses and property viewings. Shadow senior agents on client meetings, negotiations, and contract signings to learn best practices. Respond to initial client inquiries and provide basic information about properties.
- Administrative and Support Tasks: Maintain accurate and up-to-date property listings on various platforms. Follow up on generated leads. Prepare and manage sales-related paperwork and client files under supervision. Conduct market research to assist the team in understanding local property trends and competitor offerings. Assist with general administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the sales process.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3 – 5 year experience in real estate
- Education: A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is a minimum requirement. A relevant diploma or degree is an advantage.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic. Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email). Highly organised and detail-oriented. A valid driver's license and reliable transport is a plus.
