Job summary

A leading construction firm in South Africa is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Centurion. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and cost planning, managing procurement, and preparing tender documents. With a minimum experience of 5-10 years in quantity surveying, ideally, candidates will also have project management experience. Salary ranges from R25k to R40k per month based on experience.

A position has become available for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team, based in Centurion. Duties & Responsibilities

• Estimating and cost planning
• Manage Procurement (In aspect of Materials)
• Tender document preparation
• Tender reporting
• Contract administration and cost control
• Interim valuations
• Cost reporting
• Final account preparation, Contract and dispute advice
• Carrying out Employer's Agent / Contract Administrator / Project Manager duties.
• Appointment and co‑ordination of other consultants
• To attend meetings and undertake site visits.
• Bill of quantities

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum requirement: Matric.
• Minimum experience of 5‑10 years in construction quantity surveying.
• Experience in commercial and residential market.
• Experience in managing the procurement of materials and office support.
• Project management experience will be an advantage.

Package & Remuneration

R25 to R40k per month depending on experience
