The Role : Junior QC Inspector

As Junior QC Inspector your role is to ensure that raw materials, in‑process items and finished products meet internal standards and customer specifications. Youll assist with inspections, test cable properties, document findings and support quality improvement processes on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production or quality‑related environment required
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections during production
  • Sample and test product properties using specified equipment
  • Accurately record inspection results on quality control logs and digital systems
  • Raise non‑conformance reports (NCRs) when deviations are found
  • Support investigations into quality issues and corrective actions
  • Verify operator process control checks
  • Assist with audits and equipment calibration
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards
About You
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in quality or manufacturing environments
  • Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science preferred
  • NQF Level 3-4 qualification in Quality Control or Manufacturing is advantageous
  • Familiar with inspection tools (vernier callipers micrometers go / no‑go gauges)
  • Computer literate with basic Excel or ERP experience
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems is beneficial
  • Detail-focused calm under pressure and committed to doing things right
  • Team player with clear communication skills and a proactive mindset
