Overview

Hire Resolve is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our client’s team in Paarl. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to kickstart their career in the construction industry. As a Junior QS, you will assist in various aspects of quantity surveying and project management to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing tender and contract documents, including bill of quantities.
  • Evaluate and analyze project costs and budgets.
  • Support the senior QS in the measurement of work done and assessing variation orders.
  • Participate in site inspections and liaise with contractors and clients.
  • Help in monitoring project progress and expenditure.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • Basic knowledge of construction practices and terminology
