Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Junior QA Tester to join a fully remote engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those starting a tech career, offering hands-on experience in software quality assurance and the opportunity to work from anywhere in South Africa.

You will execute test plans, identify defects, and contribute to high-quality product releases while collaborating with developers and product managers in a supportive remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases and scenarios to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
