To support the successful delivery of retail projects by assisting in planning, coordination, and execution of specific project tasks, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
This will include
- Store design and layout
- Shopfitting and refurbishment
- Retail technology implementation (e.g., POS systems, digital signage)
- Stakeholder coordination (internal teams, contractors, vendors)
- Budget tracking and reporting
- Scheduling and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Assisting with planning and scheduling project timelines, milestones, and resources.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinating internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking overall project performance and preparing status updates, project plans, and meeting minutes.
- Budget Management: Helping to manage project budgets and ensuring financial discipline.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensuring deliverables meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Liaison: Acting as a point of contact for clients or stakeholders to maintain project alignment.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in project coordination or a related field is often required.
- Education: Studying towards a degree in Project Management or a related field can be advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools (like Trello) and the Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential for managing complex projects and coordinating teams.
