My client based in Bellville is currently looking for a Junior Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

IT / FINANCE

Qualifications & Experience
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Relevant IT or Project Management qualification (e.g., Diploma, BCom IT, PMP certification)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing IT projects
  • Experience managing outsourced projects in multi-vendor environments
  • Solid experience implementing SaaS solutions, including user authentication and authorization
  • Familiarity with IT and architecture governance
  • Experience in Financial Services projects is an advantage
Responsibilities
  • Plan, define, and manage projects in line with established project management methodology and standards
  • Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets
  • Prioritize project scope items based on capacity, budget, and expected business benefits
  • Monitor progress, track finances, and provide timely reporting and feedback
  • Manage resources effectively, including contracting and utilization
  • Oversee procurement, vendor contracts, and delivery in accordance with agreements
  • Facilitate project management forums for reporting, escalation, and decision-making
  • Apply formal change management processes for scope, budget, or timeline adjustments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ensure smooth handover from project delivery to ongoing operational support (BAU)
