Job summary

A leading dairy company in South Africa seeks an Administrator to provide support in documentation management, stock control, and administrative tasks. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience and a matric certificate, with a tertiary qualification being advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems is essential. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or in an administrative capacity.
  • Valid driver’s license is advantageous.

  • Accurately capture and process all relevant documentation daily.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide administrative support including filing and ad hoc tasks.
  • Assist with stock takes and retrieval of Proof of Delivery documents.

Job description
Key Performance Areas:
  • Accurately capture and process all relevant documentation on a daily basis.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve any discrepancies or disputes.
  • Match invoices, perform corrections, and reconcile accounts as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including filing, ad hoc tasks, and standby duties.
  • Assist with stock takes, investigations, and retrieval of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing systems are in place.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Matric certificate or equivalent. A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or in an administrative capacity.
  • Strong understanding of stock control processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with Business Central (BC) or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with the CHEP portfolio system is an added advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license (advantageous).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Investigative mindset with attention to detail.
