Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Lawyer with 0–1 year post-admission experience to join our pro bono team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about social justice, eager to learn, and committed to serving clients who might not otherwise have access to quality legal representation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing legal advice and representation on pro bono matters.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents under supervision.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare opinions or memoranda.
  • Support senior lawyers in court appearances and client consultations.
  • Engage with communities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to promote access to justice.
  • Maintain proper case records and reporting for pro bono matters.
Requirements
  • LLB degree and admission as an Attorney (0–1 year post admission).
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in human rights, public interest law, or community development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity, empathy, and professionalism.
