Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Cape Town. As a Junior Pharmacist, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring correct prescriptions are administered, and providing valuable healthcare advice to customers. You will also collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain an organized and efficient workflow, monitor stock levels, assist the PCDT pharmacist & nurses to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and also assist regulation for compounding. Exceptional customer service and support will be central to your role as an integral part of the team. Must be willing to work weekends & evening shifts. Live in Southern Suburbs.

Qualifications
  • PCDT QUALIFICATION will be plus
  • Willing to qualify as PCDT pharmacist
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medication dispensing, and patient care
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for providing patient advice and support
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and handling inventory management
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification
  • Compounding knowledge and practical experience
  • Primary Health Care clinic services
  • Valid registration with the relevant pharmaceutical council or authority
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems is an advantage
  • Problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
