We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Junior Operations Manager to support the daily operations of our organisation. In this role, you will assist with managing internal processes, coordinating across departments and ensuring smooth communication with both clients and stakeholders. You will play an important part in maintaining efficiency, monitoring workflows, and helping identify areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will be organised, adaptable, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in operations and team collaboration. You will contribute to building positive client relationships, support project execution, and help ensure that day‑to‑day activities run seamlessly. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
  • Support team coordination, assist in scheduling, and help resolve minor personnel issues to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Prepare and analyse operational reports, track KPIs, and present findings to senior management for decision‑making.
  • Assist in maintaining client relationships, ensuring timely communication, and resolving operational issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with departments to align operational goals and ensure seamless execution.
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and service delivery.
  • Monitor resource allocation to ensure operational readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Support the planning and execution of operational projects, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • National Senior Certificate (NSC) / Grade 12 – Required.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in operations or team leadership.
  • Basic understanding of business operations, workflow management, and process optimisation.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools).
  • Exposure to client‑facing roles or stakeholder coordination is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Additional certifications in project management or operations (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, PMP) are a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
