Position Title: Junior Operational Monitor – South Africa

Reports to: Manager Operational Monitor

Department: Operations

Period: Full Time - Local Employment Agreement

Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg - South Africa

CLOSING DATE: 25 August

Job Purpose

The Junior Operation's Monitor is responsible for contributing to efficient monitoring of the assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational and maintenance monitoring and analysis
  • Assists the HO Performance Engineer in obtaining daily production figures, plant breakdown and planned maintenance information.
  • Monitor the status of generating units to minimize the mean time to repair (MTTR) and reduce maintenance downtime.
  • Ensures all relevant data related to planned and unplanned maintenance is accurate.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • National Diploma (T3, N6) in electrical engineering / mechanical experience (essential)
  • Relevant Degree (preferable)
  • At least 1 year experience in utility scale power plant operations and or construction, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
