Searching for a JUNIOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR in KILLARNEY GARDENS, Cape Town: The ideal candidate will be in charge of the organization and efficiency of daily office operations for a national steel and aluminium fabrication, supply & installation company.

From scheduling client meetings, to communicating between departments, you will be responsible for completing multi‑level tasks in a professional and timely manner.

The position entails various administrative tasks and includes sourcing of suppliers and placing orders.

A buying background would be beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the maintenance of office areas, equipment, and facilities
  • Managing office and stationery supplies
  • Interact with personnel and various departments
  • Varied administrative tasks (type, copy, scan, print, file, source suppliers & quotations, etc)
  • Sourcing of relevant suppliers, best prices and managing purchasing processes.
  • Manage the reception area and staff to ensure effective communication both internally and externally
  • Provide office guests with a hospitable experience.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills- full proficiency in English non‑negotiable (speak, read, write & understand), preferred : Basic Afrikaans communication skills (client‑base specific)
  • Ability to multi‑task, organize, and prioritize work & work without supervision
  • Minimum matriculation required, secretarial / administrative qualification preferred

General : Based in Killarney Gardens, Cape Town

Own reliable transport & valid driver’s license required

Passion, drive & willingness to learn & grow within company

Experience in any field pertaining to metalworks or construction will be advantageous
