Job summary

SavageOne Pty Ltd in Johannesburg is seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join our growing development team. You will work with experienced developers to build, maintain, and enhance web applications and APIs using modern .NET technologies, learning hands-on in a collaborative Agile setting.

You will collaborate with senior developers, PMs, and QA, participate in code reviews, and contribute to front-end tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or currently completing).
• Experience with C#/.NET and web API development is essential.
• Exposure to SQL Server and relational databases is required.
• Familiarity with Git or version control is expected.
• Willingness to learn and grow in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+.
• Collaborate with seniors, PMs and QA to implement requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve coding practices.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Support testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Contribute to front-end when needed (training provided).
• Integrate third-party APIs and services under guidance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like stand-ups and sprints.
