Job summary

Managed People Solutions is seeking a Junior Merchandiser Intern to join our team in Graaff Reinet, Eastern Cape. This hands-on role offers exposure to eye-catching product displays and leading brands in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll gain practical experience and build merchandising skills in-store. The stipend is R3500 per month, with TVET N6 (18 months) or NCV Level 4 (12 months) contracts, and a 9-hour workday including lunch.

Qualifications

• Must be under the age of 28.
• Currently unemployed and have not participated in a similar internship before.
• Qualification: NCV Level 4 and N6 certificates as specified.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
• Ensure the correct stock is available in-store.
• Check product quality, rotation, and pricing.
• Set up products according to merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.
• Monitor and report out-of-stock items to management.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.
• Execute store calls according to the call cycle.
• Advise the Regional Sales Manager on out‑of‑stock products.
