A Richards Bay-based company is seeking a junior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in KwaZulu-Natal. This role suits a recent graduate or early-career engineer aiming to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, development, and testing within a dynamic industrial environment.

You will work with senior engineers on diverse projects, prepare basic CAD drawings, support testing, and learn practical skills while contributing fresh perspectives to the team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of relevant engineering experience or internships.
• Proficiency in basic CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is advantageous.
• A foundational understanding of mechanical engineering principles and physics.
• Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in a practical setting.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, essential for integration into the Richards Bay team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems under senior guidance.
• Prepare basic engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Support testing and validation activities, collecting and analyzing data.
• Conduct literature reviews and research to support design decisions and problem-solving.
• Participate in design review meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing minor modifications to existing designs.
