Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Maintenance Planner to support our maintenance team. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Maintenance Planner with administrative duties, ensuring the smooth execution of maintenance schedules and operations. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent computer skills, a proactive mindset, and a desire to grow within a dynamic maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Maintenance Planner in creating, updating, and managing maintenance schedules and work orders.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment data, and inventory in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians and other departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Generate reports and analyze maintenance data to support decision‑making processes.
- Organize and file maintenance documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.
- Monitor and track maintenance KPIs and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the maintenance planning team.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus.
Skills
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with CMMS software (preferred).
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or maintenance‑related role is an advantage but not required.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with maintenance planning or facility management processes.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems.
