Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a junior fleet control and logistics support role. This position is ideal for a young professional with some practical experience in fleet management, logistics, and data capturing, who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day fleet operations, logistics coordination, and accurate data capturing to ensure smooth workflow and effective support to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with fleet control including vehicle tracking, trip monitoring, and reporting.
  • Support logistics planning and scheduling to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
  • Perform data capturing and administrative tasks, maintaining accuracy across systems.
  • Monitor and update driver schedules, routes, and fleet documentation.
  • Assist with compliance checks on vehicles, licenses, and safety requirements.
  • Generate daily and weekly operational reports.
  • Provide general administrative support to the logistics and fleet department.
  • Liaise with drivers, operations staff, and clients to resolve queries efficiently.
Requirements
  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
  • Additional studies in Logistics, Transport Management, or Supply Chain (advantageous).
  • 1â2 yearsâ experience in logistics, fleet administration, and data capturing.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook; fleet / logistics systems advantageous).
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing.
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
Contract Details
  • Contract Start Date : November 2025
  • Contract Type : Fixed-term (with possible extension).
  • Working Hours : Full-time (Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays if required). Shift work is applicable.
  • Remuneration : Market-related, based on experience.
