A legal services provider in Gauteng is seeking a Legal Assistant (Paralegal) to assist their legal department with operations. The ideal candidate should have a Higher Certificate in paralegal studies or be studying towards a legal degree, along with 2-5 years of experience in a law firm. Responsibilities include managing case files, ensuring compliance, and handling legal documentation. This is a permanent position based in Midrand.

Minimum Requirements
  • Higher Certificate in paralegal studies or currently studying towards a legal degree (LLB, Bcom Law)
  • At least two to five years experience in a law firm or corporate legal enviroment

  • General contract management incuding contract life cycle management (standard contracts)

  • Assist in managing case file management
  • Dealing with external stakeholders

  • General document management and drafting
  • Case management support (opening and maintaining case files)

  • General assistance with company secretarial work
