Job summary

Transnet invites recent IT graduates to join a two-year Young Professional-in-Training programme in South Africa. You will deliver tasks within a work-stream, shadow staff, attend meetings, and gain exposure to procurement functions. You will communicate with customers, support suppliers and end-users, and prepare MS Office reports and project deliverables. A ND/Degree in IT with 0-1 year experience is required.

Preference will be given to designated groups in line with Employment Equity Plan.

Qualifications

• ND/Degree in IT or related field.
• 0-1 year experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tasks within a work-stream/department.
• Shadow staff and participate in learning experiences.
• Attend meetings and workshops.
• Provide general administrative, research, and assistance.
• Produce Word and PowerPoint reports for project solutions.
