A health and safety management firm in Cape Town is seeking an experienced professional to manage health and safety standards across various sites. The role requires a relevant qualification, SACPCMP CHSO certification, and at least 5 years' experience in a civil engineering environment. Responsibilities include developing H&S systems, conducting risk assessments, and leading H&S committee meetings. A competitive salary of R15K is offered, with opportunities for training and development.
Main Purpose & KPA’s: Effectively managing Health and Safety on site. Ensure that any / all sites fully adhere to H&S regulations both physically and administratively. Ensure proper implementation of the health and safety plan. Ensure that all accidents / incidents are reported / recorded. Identify training requirements and scarce skills for the workforce. Conduct internal training where required.
