Role Purpose

The Junior Financial Analyst will support the MDS Finance team by assisting in financial analysis, reporting, modelling, and data‑driven decision‑making.

This entry‑level role is designed for a recent Actuarial Science graduate with strong analytical skills and a passion for financial insights, modelling, and business intelligence.

The analyst will contribute to financial processes, performance tracking, and the development of tools that enhance operational efficiency and strategic planning.

Requirements
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science required.
• (Honours preferred).
• Strong academic performance with exposure to finance, statistics, or data science.

Experience

• Internship or academic project experience in financial analysis, modelling, or data analytics (advantageous).
• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Python, or R (preferred but not required).

Duties & Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Modelling & Scenario Analysis
