Introduction

A well-established and internationally recognised plastic injection moulding concern situated in Epping are recruiting for a Junior Financial Accountant who has recently qualified.

This person will be assisting the Financial Manager and be responsible for various companies' financial administration and management and will need to work effectively and accurately under strict deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparation for audits and liaison with auditors
• Preparation of accounts up to Trial Balance
• Update and maintain asset register
• Assist with debtors and creditors when required
• Preparation and submission of VAT and statutory returns (EMP)
• General financial administration
• Preparation of payments for approval
• Processing Cashbook
• Processing of monthly salaries and overseeing weekly wage administration
• Ad hoc financial and administrative duties

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum registered as an Associate General Accountant AGA(SA), Chartered Accountant CA(SA) will be advantageous

Minimum 3 year's post-articles experience

Experience in a manufacturing environment will be advantageous

Computer literacy (Pastel Accounting and Payroll packages and Advanced MS Excel)

Detail orientated and good management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High IQ and EQ, quick thinker, and persuasive communicator

Confident, well-spoken, eager to learn, and able to apply technology to solve business challenges
