Job description

A well-established corporate company seeks to employ a Junior Project Manager to join their team in the Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Events (MICE) department.

Suitable candidates will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from concept to execution.

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualisation & Planning: Interpret client briefs and RFQs, contributing creative and innovative concepts. Develop unique, out-of-the-box itineraries for events and incentive programmes.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Source suppliers, request quotes, negotiate competitive rates, and maintain strong supplier relationships. Collaborate effectively with internal departments to deliver seamless projects. Build and sustain professional relationships with clients, including high-level stakeholders.
  • Financial & Administrative Management: Manage project budgets from inception to reconciliation. Maintain strong administration, documentation, and reporting processes.
  • Logistics & Guest Relations: Oversee all logistics, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation. Provide guest support, including visa and travel extensions, ensuring all queries are handled promptly. Conduct site inspections at proposed destinations and venues.
  • Project Execution: Lead and execute projects independently, both in-person and remotely. Manage small teams for larger-scale events and projects.
  • Travel locally and internationally as required for project delivery.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Events, Communications, Marketing or similar.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years' experience within the events or incentives industry.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
  • Experience with flight logistics / management will be advantageous.
