Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Cape Town seeks a high-potential graduate to join a new digital venture. You will work closely with the CEO to prototype lean digital services and learn business, finance and operations while delivering technical projects.

You should have a technical degree in CS/CE or be self-taught with formal training and a proven track record, and demonstrate strong digital and analytics skills along with an entrepreneurial mindset. 0–4 years experience expected.

• Exceptional track record: top performer academically and in early career / other areas outside of academics
• Digital skillset: software development and analytics skills - must be able to demonstrate this, either a technical degree in computer science/ computer engineering, or self taught, but with some formal training and track record.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the CEO to build a new digital business for the company alongside its existing business lines.
• Develop your entrepreneurial skills by using the "lean" approach of hypothesis generation and experimentation.
• Develop your commercial acumen by integrating decision making about all aspects of a new business, including: the customer, the value proposition, financing, operational execution, analytics / insights, and building scalable digital solutions.
• Deliver exceptional tech projects, but with an interest in learning business, finance and operational skills.
